Einstein "The Tube" Preamplifier
The
Heart of the Einstein "The Tube" preamplifier
is based on an entirely new concept in preamp design. Proprietary
circuitry in "The Tube" utilizes two twin triodes for
each input circuit without the use of a standard selector switch,
thereby eliminating a set of signal contacts. When heater voltage
is applied to a particular set of input tubes, that circuit becomes
active.
The Tube also includes another major advancement in preamplifier
design with its highly perfected and transparent remote volume
control - finally!!
Eight tubes are used for the balanced output stage, which has
a 10V headroom, thus making it impossible to overdrive, and one
for the tape buffer circuit. Chassis layout includes three-dimensional
point-to-point wiring and a low impedance output eliminates signal
and ultrasonic reflections. The overall result of these collective
advancements is an ultra-quiet background with supreme musicality.
